Boosting Alpha is proud to announce its participation as a project partner in ETCETERA — Einstein Telescope Computing, Experimental Testbed & End-to-end Research Architecture — a major European initiative supporting the development of the advanced computing, data and artificial intelligence infrastructure required for the future Einstein Telescope.

Supported by the Interreg Meuse-Rhine programme and coordinated by Hasselt University, the €4.7 million ETCETERA project brings together 14 partners from Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. The consortium is working to develop and test the technologies needed to process, manage and interpret the vast volumes of data generated by next-generation gravitational-wave observatories.

As a project partner, Boosting Alpha contributes to the cross-border collaboration connecting scientific research, advanced technology and practical innovation. With its experience in real time data processing capabilities, Boosting Alpha supports the project’s ambition to translate complex technological developments into accessible and impactful applications.

The Einstein Telescope will require highly advanced infrastructure capable of handling enormous quantities of data in real time. ETCETERA addresses this challenge by combining expertise in high-speed data acquisition, computing architectures, artificial intelligence, experimental testbeds and end-to-end system integration.

The project brings together Hasselt University, KU Leuven, UCLouvain, Utrecht University, Maastricht University, Liège University, RWTH Aachen University, Spacebel, DELTATEC, Dataminded, Boosting Alpha, B12 Consulting, dataMatters and Aprico Consultants (YUMA).
